Woody Allen draws on his own past in this warm, nostalgic piece that cross-cuts between the Brooklyn of his youth and the uptown lives of radio personalities. In voice-over, Allen alternates stories about the members of a Brooklyn household (including Seth Green, Julie Kavner and Dianne Wiest) and tales of radio stardom, focusing on a cigarette girl (Mia Farrow) with a dreadful "Noo Yawk" accent. Days of our Lives is making good on its promise to bring back more classic characters. Now that Austin Peck is back as Sami's ex-lover, Austin Reed, what better time for Christie Clark to return as Carrie, the half sister Sami once battled for his affections? She'll reappear on the NBC sudser in early December. "Days could not be more delighted that Christie Clark is returning to Salem," the show's rep tells TVGuide.com.
