Peter Fonda, Lara Parker, Warren Oates, and Loretta Swit star in this fairly effective action-horror film as two married couples who travel to Texas in a large camper. The first night out they accidentally stumble upon a cult of devil worshipers and witness a human sacrifice. When the vacationers try to escape, the Satanists give chase, leading to an incredible, lengthy action sequence in which the cultists leap onto the moving camper from pick-up trucks and cars. This exceptionally well-done sequence bears a remarkable resemblance to the climactic chase scene in THE ROAD WARRIOR, wherein the crazed desert rats leap onto Mel Gibson's gasoline tanker in an effort to stop him. leave a comment
