Crooner Martin is hopelessly miscast as a rough-and-ready frontier type who quits the Army to protest a needlessly bloody slaughter of redskins led by Gen. George Armstrong Custer. He then decides to become a scout and is sent off on a mission to investigate the disappearance of a top secret shipment of repeating rifles that was sent to a faraway post. Veteran B western thespian Castle joins Martin to find out whether or not her kid brother had been killed at the fort during a vicious Indian attack. Even the usually capable low-budget veteran director Selander couldn't do much with this material. Martin should have stayed in front of a microphone. leave a comment
