Leurini plays the son of King Solomon (Cervi). The budding prince is sent to spy on the queen (Ruffo) and find out her plan for war on Israel. Leurini takes a little respite from work when he falls in love with Ruffo. The arranged marriage between Leurini and Berti spurs Ruffo to seek revenge by declaring war.
