Queen Of The Nile

This is one of those countless inferior-quality Italian biblical epics. What makes this one a little more distinctive than most (although no better) is the import of Americans Crain and Price to play ancient Egyptians. Crain is a young, naive woman living near Thebes. She can't elope with her sculptor fiance (Purdom) because Price, who reveals himself as her father, tells her she must fulfill her destiny by marrying the mentally ill Nazzari. Purdom is sentenced to death but escapes. It turns out that Nazzari is an old friend, and Purdom intends to seek a pardon.
