Queen Bee

QUEEN BEE is a fairly interesting character study of a dominating, manipulative woman played by Crawford. Though she's outwardly the embodiment of charm and love, the truth is she's insidious and rotten. She is married to wealthy mill owner Sullivan, and they live in a huge Georgia mansion where Sullivan spends most of his time nipping from the bottle and drinking himself to sleep because he sees right through Crawford and despises her. Marlow, a cousin from New York, comes to stay a while with Crawford and Sullivan and is taken in by Crawford's apparent lovableness. However, it isn't long before she spots Crawford for what she is.
