Attempting to investigate a report of a strange meteorite shower in a nearby community, Doctor Quatermass (Donlevy) finds the whole area cordoned off by the authorities--and a strange collection of pressure domes. It turns out that the meteorites have brought with them tiny organisms from space, which in turn have taken over human bodies and are building the pressure domes to house a host of aliens waiting out in space.
