The famed raid on Lawrence, Kansas, in which over 400 innocent people lost their lives to a group of marauders is heavily fictionalized and cleaned up for this quickie western B film. Gordon plans to raid the town in order to get Union munitions for the Confederacy. Cochran is a Confederate officer assigned to help plan the raid but discovers the ammunition has been moved.
