Kincaid, a northern white boy, arrives in the decadence of 1835 New Orleans. He earns money by teaching a group of mulatto whores how to read and write. He falls for one of them (McKee), which, of course, leads to trouble. Plenty of flesh is seen in this ridiculous exploitation film. Some
attempt is made at period costuming, but the film is permeated by its hateful attitudes toward black women. Acting and production values are passable.
