George Bernard Shaw's magnificent 1913 comedy was never better served than in this flawless production with Leslie Howard and Wendy Hiller perfectly matched as thoroughly mismatched lovers. If you've seen My Fair Lady, you already know the story: He's a wealthy phonetics prof who bets his friend he can transform an uncouth, thick-accented flowergirl (Hiller) into a grand lady.
