Pursuit To Algiers

This is one of the lesser Rathbone "Sherlock Holmes" films from his famous series in the 1940s. Rathbone and his eternal sidekick Bruce find themselves hot on the trail of an assassin. Vincent is a prince who must return to his home country from London after his father is killed. Rathbone schedules himself a private flight with the monarch while Bruce takes a Mediterranean ship, the SS Friesland. Bruce makes friends with his fellow passengers, including Riordan, a young singer from Brooklyn. Also aboard is Ivan, a sinister old spinster with a pistol in her handbag.
