Ames is a nice girl on a South Seas island. She's saving her pennies so she can go to San Francisco and open a tea room. Hardie comes to the island to take over his uncle's plantation, but bad guy Jory wants the place and tries to kill Hardie. Ames nurses the boy back to health (and romance), but Jory tries again. This time he takes no chances, kidnaping Ames and really going after Hardie in a brutal fight. Ames shoots the villain and all ends happily. This is a standard plot, but Ames works hard to make it better than it has a right to be. Production values are standard. leave a comment
