After making a name of Deanna Durbin in THREE SMART GIRLS, producer Joe Pasternak hit the jackpot again with the pre-teen Gloria Jean who made her debut in this picture. She is a youngster in rags who gets to hang around with the rich kids when she gets a chance to spend a holiday in an exclusive camp.
