Wrongly accused of murder, Hutton is placed inside a mental institution, where another inmate teaches him the secrets of astral projection. Upon his release, Arnold goes about exacting revenge from those who had him committed, permitted by his psychic powers to murder his victims without
ever leaving his apartment. PSYCHIC KILLER is marred by its blatant references to Hitchcock films, especially Hutton's PSCYHO-derived mother complex. Actor-turned-director Ray Danton's presentation of this material is pretty mundane and leaves his competent cast of supporting players to inject
whatever life they can into the movie.
