A must-see. Director Richard Rush's psychedlic time capsule not only features a groovy posse of stars who would go on to much bigger things, it's not that bad a film. Susan Strasberg plays a 17-year-old deaf girl who runs away to San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district to find her older brother (Bruce Dern), an artist who's tuned in, turned on, and dropped out.
