Billy Wong (Jackie Chan) and Danny Garoni (Danny Aiello) are a pair of New York cops who set out for Hong Kong on the trail of a drug czar who has kidnaped the daughter of his former partner. The film opens with a shootout and speedboat chase in New York, then moves to Hong Kong as the two
men evade swarms of killers. Chan gets plenty of chances to show off his martial arts and gymnastic abilities, as well as a good deal of personal charisma and talent. Aiello is as good as usual, providing a necessary Occidental edge to the otherwise Eastern goings-on with a sharp sense of humor.
Lots of violence and nudity keep this film exciting, but make it most definitely not ...
