Profile

Bentley takes a new job as the editor of a magazine called Profile, and becomes interested in the publisher's daughter, Gregory. Bentley, however, is the object of Byron's affections, and she is the publisher's wife. Bentley soon finds himself accused of embezzling. Trouble multiplies when the publisher dies from a heart attack and Byron is mysteriously murdered. Bentley is then targeted as the guilty one. Not surprisingly, Bentley is proven innocent when the real killer is discovered. The film closes with an exciting chase sequence through the press room, but the end alone can't save this one.
