Predictable mystery has Cody on the verge of suicide when his phony real estate business gets in financial trouble. But before he has a chance to kill himself he is murdered by someone else. Holmes, his right-hand man, thinks it is a case of suicide, but says it was murder to collect the insurance to pay off debts. Sparks plays the detective with an endless number of questions. Thin plot acts as a background for some good comedy and strong caricatures. leave a comment
