Griffith is an Austrian showgirl in Lugosi's cabaret who makes a living by stealing on the side. She's caught and enlists the aid of Keith to defend her. He isn't much of a lawyer, however, and she is sentenced to a few months in the slammer. He does win her heart and promises to wait for her. Barely a talkie, PRISONERS has a few sound effects and only a minimum of dialog toward the end. Of interest mainly to Lugosi fans. leave a comment
