The Power: Review

A mysterious possessor of telekinetic powers murders a member of a scientific team researching human endurance. The killer is one of the other members of the group of scientists, with the biochemist Hamilton as the prime suspect. Kicked off the project, Hamilton undertakes an investigation of his own. As the other members of the research team slowly start to perish, Hamilton discovers that Rennie possesses superhuman powers that he intends to use to take control of the world. His purpose is to give reign to his own twisted concept of good. In a life-saving situation, Hamilton discovers he also possesses a superbrain, which he uses to overpower Rennie. The complex plot falters in some overly stereotyped depictions, but the direction manages to supply a good deal of tension for a fairly interesting science-fiction yarn. leave a comment
