Slum-dweller Dahl decides she is destined for a better life. Her two goals are to be a great success and to use men any way she possibly can in order to succeed. A beauty contest is fixed in her favor, and from there it's a few short steps up the ladder. After an affair with a wealthy executive, she marries the successful head of a large corporation.
