Haphazardly produced story has Allen stowing away on Carey's freighter in order to avoid a murder rap. After a mishap with pirates outside Shanghai, the police wire the freighter that the real killer has confessed. Reputed tough-guy Carey comes out looking like a wimp. Hero Stone, Allen's love interest, is the ship's wireless operator who, because of his job, wises up early to her predicament. He later won an Emmy award for his 20 years of playing Doc Adams on TV's "Gunsmoke." leave a comment
