Port Of New York

Intriguing, fast-paced story has Brady and Rober as government customs agents trying to break up a narcotics ring run by the notorious Brynner. Their search takes them through the back alleys of New York, where they use common police methods to gather information, winding up on Brynner's yacht. In an attempt to infiltrate the gang, Brady is killed, but Rober continues on his own to bring the crooks to justice. This was the featured-player film debut for Brynner, whose exotic appearance was perfect for the ruthless type of criminal he portrayed; he had a full head of hair at the time.
