Haphazardly produced story has Allen stowing away on Carey's freighter in order to avoid a murder rap. After a mishap with pirates outside Shanghai, the police wire the freighter that the real killer has confessed. Reputed tough-guy Carey comes out looking like a wimp. Hero Stone, Allen's love interest, is the ship's wireless operator who, because of his job, wises up early to her predicament.
