Lane plays a gun moll who stows away on a fishing boat captained by Boyd in order to avoid the police. They fall in love and marry; Lane going straight, with Boyd unaware of her shady past. The police eventually catch up to Lane, but not until she has managed to have a baby. She is taken
to prison, prompting Boyd to commit a crime in order to be close to his wife. Able direction and a good cast give some life to this worn and somewhat unbelievable story. The Bill Boyd of this picture was one of the three film actors with that name who did
not work in westerns. He died prior to the
picture's release at the age of 45.
