McCallum and Kerr are a pair of WW II veterans who are forced to dodge the police when McCallum kills a man in a fight. Reporter Withers offers them shelter on her boat, but the near-psychotic Kerr is easily panicked and attracts attention. In a battle with police, Kerr is killed and McCallum is left to surrender. A far from spectacular British offering. Shortly after this film was released, Withers and husband McCallum moved to Australia, where they continued to do occasional film work, including THE NICKEL QUEEN (1970), which starred Withers and was directed by McCallum. leave a comment
