Port Afrique

Colorful and exotic Morocco serves as the background for a dull and tensionless story in which wounded American pilot Carey returns to his African plantation from WW II to find his wife murdered. The police dismiss the case as suicide, but Carey knows better and undertakes an investigation on his own. His prime suspects are nightclub owner Hayter, who was on the make for the woman, Carey's business partner Price, who wanted them to sell their plantation, and Angeli, a nightclub singer and guest of the dead woman at Carey's home. The final verdict is no surprise to anyone.
