Just what film audiences have been clamoring for, a third PORKY'S movie. This time the familiar students of Angel Beach High School are once again confronting the hefty title character, the proprietor of a combination brothel and casino. Since his establishment sank into a swamp at the end of the first film, he has moved his operation onto a paddle-wheel riverboat. Porky (Chuck Mitchell) tries to force the high school basketball coach to throw a couple of big games in payment for some gambling debts the coach (Bill Hindman) has racked up at his joint. This brings the gang (Dan Monahan, Wyatt Knight, Tony Ganios, Mark Herrier, Kaki Hunter, and Scott Colomby) into collison with him again. A worthless attempt to cash in on a lot of sniggering innuendo and crude slapstick, this film succeeds in its aims and made big profits for its producers. By far the best thing about the movie is the soundtrack of rock 'n' roll oldies done in new rave-up versions by Dave Edmunds, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Carl Perkins, and others. leave a comment
