This return to the 1940s Hollywood film has writer/actor Charriere, a diamond thief, and Baker, a police inspector, tracking down Cardinale across South America after she has cheated them both. Despite some nice photography of the South American jungle, the picture is pretty flat, with Cardinale miscast as the classic femme fatale. leave a comment
