Hayley Mills was awarded a special Oscar for Outstanding Juvenile Performance for her wonderful work in this winning, live-action Disney classic. Mills plays the title character, an orphan who comes to live with her wealthy aunt (Jane Wyman) in a small town in 1912. The town is full of nay-sayers, but Mills soon brightens everyone's outlook by always managing to find something good in every situation, no matter how bleak. Read the complete review for Pollyanna
