Gassman arrives in England, where he has inherited a fortune from an eccentric old aunt. When he visits her home and finds the place run down, he sells 13 antique chairs to raise money for the fare home. To his horror Gassman later finds a note explaining that the fortune was hidden inside one of the chairs.
