Plunder

Film adaptation of a British stage farce has all-teeth and monocled funnyman Lynn teaming with his old stage pal, Walls, a professional jewel thief, to steal the gems his fiancee, Shotter, is cheated out of by the housekeeper. They pull off the theft, but when Lynn finds out that the old housekeeper committed bigamy to get the gems, he makes a deal with her to split the value. The teaming of Lynn and Walls makes for some witty humor, and bald Hare does his part, but the entire production is photographed as though performed for the stage, and lacks any cinematic emphasis.
