Hopelessly contrived thriller starring Burr as a lovesick attorney who learns that his client, Lansbury (the object of his affections), did indeed kill her husband. Guilt-ridden because he has helped her get away with murder, Burr arranges for Lansbury to kill him, so that some semblance
of justice will be done. She agrees wholeheartedly to kill the poor sap because she is involved with a young artist and it would be a load off her mind to do away with the bothersome, fawning attorney. Decent cast
almost pulls this one into the realm of believability, but not quite.
