Interesting drama in which Seberg plays a lonely and bored American student in Versailles who becomes fascinated by sculptor Marquand. He lives next-door to her dorm with his patron, the wealthy Prevost. One day, near his house, she witnesses a hit-and-run accident in which a pedestrian is killed, but she can't see the driver of the car. Later, she meets Marquand and he is attracted to her.
