One of the few Woody Allen films set outside New York City, and a movie buff's delight. Allen plays Allan, a neurotic San Francisco film fanatic so obsessed with movies — Casablanca, in particular — his wife (Susan Anspach) walks out on him. To boost his spirits, his friends Diane Keaton and Tony Roberts fix him up with a series of girls, while Bogie himself (Jerry Lacy, in an uncanny impersonation) appears to dispense advice.
