The Plainsman: Review

Pointless remake of Cecil B. De Mille's 1937 epic which starred Gary Cooper, Jean Arthur, and James Ellison. This version boasts the much less dynamic talents of Murray, Stockwell, and Dalton as Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill, and Calamity Jane. The plot revolves around the romance between Murray and Dalton, with several rip-snortin' western-type episodes to fill in the frequent gaps. leave a comment
