Ambitious young stock car racer, Davalos, is a Class A rat: not only does he make local great Haig crash, but he also wins Haig's old girl friend. For his next race, Davalos is assigned to work closely with the favorite (Washburn) of his sponsor (Donlevy, in his last film).
