Luden stars as the foreman of a cattle drive who runs afoul of a gang of rustlers and is kidnaped and brought to their leader, Whitaker. Whitaker offers to free Luden if he will go back to his bosses and inform them that the trail is safe, in the hopes that an even bigger herd of cattle will be sent next time.
