Pinocchio In Outer Space

A feature length animated film starring Pinocchio, who, at the beginning of the film, is turned back into a puppet by Geppetto as punishment for bad behavior. Later, Pinocchio meets outer-space creature Nurtle the Turtle, whose spaceship has accidentally landed on Earth. Nurtle invites Pinocchio along for a ride, and together they go to Mars, where they meet the dangerous Astro the Flying Whale, who threatens to invade Earth. Eventually the puppet and turtle defeat the whale, and Pinocchio returns to Earth a hero and is rewarded by being turned back into a real boy. This is well animated, but nowhere near the quality of Disney.
