A well-made and marvelously acted film about three chance encounters aboard an ill-fated airliner. Gary Merrill stars as a lawyer who meets three strangers — a stripper (Shelley Winters), a doctor (Michael Rennie) and a traveling salesman (Keenan Wynn) — during a cross-country flight.
