A fascinating but thoroughly unbelievable science-fiction film about a 1943 military experiment that goes awry. David Herdeg (Micahel Pare) and Jim Parker (Bobby Di Cicco) are sailors on board a battleship that scientist Longstreet (Eric Christmas) is trying to render invisible. The
experiment fails and the entire ship vanishes, with Herdeg and Parker ending up in the middle of a Nevada test sight in 1984 where Longstreet is still trying to perfect his experiment. While loaded down with pseudoscientific mumbo-jumbo, this movie still manages to be entertaining and humorous,
particularly as the characters from the 40s try to come to grips with life in the 80s.
