An effective suspense film that doubles as a romance and stars Anne Carlisle as Sally, a divorced mother with a 2-year-old son. The boy witnesses a murder, but since he is unable to speak yet he cannot identify the killer. The murderer begins following Sally and her son around, and soon Sally falls in love with him. Director Larry Cohen adroitly handles the intriguing plot, taking a breather from his more eccentric films like IT'S ALIVE (1974) and Q (1982). leave a comment
