The Mauch twins start up a gang of pint-sized G-men and end up locating the hideout of a gang of real criminals. The cops come along and make the arrests. The kids' dog even gets a medal for its heroics. Fine fare for the kids. Made as a vehicle for the Mauch twins, with Bobby playing a tough big-city boy from Chicago and Bill the bucolic title whippersnapper, the story deviates markedly from author Tarkington's tales. leave a comment
