Corny story has Hurt as a young scientist who has no problems making it with the ladies. When Mills turns him down, he decides to redeem himself through an expedition to the Antarctic to study penguins. His growing fondness for the birds, and how they manage to adapt to their rugged
environment, sparks a transformation in Hurt. Shallow story is given some life by the beautiful Antarctic photography by Sucksdorff. Remade as NEVER CRY WOLF.
