Foster, the son of soap manufacturer Pallette, decides to rival his father and enter the business on his own. With the help of beautiful secretary Lombard and ad man Gallagher, Foster comes up with the phenomenally popular slogan for his "Thirteen" brand of soap: "Thirteen--unlucky for dirt."
