Dunn plays a sports columnist with money problems in this nondescript melodrama. Spurred on by his nagging wife Dodd, Dunn gets mixed up with a crooked wrestling promoter hoping to better his situation. Dodd leaves him for casino operator Dinehart, whom she eventually murders. Dodd
commits suicide, leaving Dunn to be comforted by colleague Ellis.
