Weekend movie-goers are hitting the Mall in droves.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop led the box-office pack, debuting to about $33.8 million in its first two days. In its second week out, Clint Eastwood drama Gran Torino sped to number two, with a take of $22.2 mil. The movie lost 25 percent of its audience after its leading opening last week, according to Variety.
The Jensen Ackles-helmed 3-D thriller, My Bloody Valentine, slashed its way to number three, earning $21.9 mil. Valentine cut just above Notorious B.I.G.'s eponymous biopic Notorious, which found its rhythm with $21.5 mil. Having opened in 1,638 theaters, the film earned $13,126 per location — the best of any film this weekend.
