Taylor stars as a jazz musician engaged in a battle with some crooked record company executives who prefer to let violence and money rule their business. With the encouragement of his mystical grandfather, Muse, he turns to his African heritage for answers to his dilemma. A battle ensues between Taylor and the mobster-run company, resulting in the death of Taylor's close friend.
