Passage Home: Review
An old standby melodramatic plot involves attractive blonde Cilento, a passenger on a ship bound for England from South America. Tyrannical captain Finch tries to force himself on her, but she is rescued by first mate Steel. Finch locks himself in his cabin and drinks until a storm allows him to regain his pride by saving the ship. A good cast and a fast pace cover up the holes in this effort, scripted by a writer who is also a sailor, Fairchild.
