The Party's Over

This overly melodramatic, moronic film is about a man going to England to find his fiancee. David is sent by the girl's father, Albert, to find her. He discovers that she became involved with a group of beatniks and has disappeared. The story line drags as David goes through the typical paces to trace the whereabouts of his fiancee. Finally, at the local morgue, David learns that she died in a drunken fall, after which one of the beatniks made love to her without noticing that she was dead. David sends her body back to her father and spares him the details of her demise.
